Enceladus in True Color

Saturn's moon Enceladus has oceans under its ice. Long features, sometimes called tiger stripes, spew ice from the moon's interior into space. These cracks create clouds of ice particles over the South Pole and form Saturn's E-ring. The Cassini spacecraft, which orbited Saturn from 2004 to 2017, gathered evidence for this.
