Solstice on a Spinning Earth
Today is a solstice, which means the Earth's terminator, the line between night and day, is tilted the most. This time-lapse video shows an entire year in twelve seconds. The Meteosat 9 satellite recorded infrared images of Earth every day at the same local time, showing the terminator's changing tilt.
We cannot put this date's photograph on paper at poster size. We can print the nearest public archive plate to your date instead.
