Saturn V: NASA's Largest Rocket

This image shows a NASA Saturn V rocket blasting off on July 16, 1969, carrying the Apollo 11 crew to the Moon. The Saturn V was the largest rocket ever used by NASA. It was the only rocket powerful enough to launch the massive payloads required to land astronauts on the Moon and bring them back safely.
