Arachnoids are large, spider-web-like structures found only on Venus. They are concentric ovals surrounded by a network of fractures, spanning up to 200 kilometers. Radar echoes from the Magellan spacecraft, which orbited Venus from 1990 to 1994, created this image. Over 30 arachnoids have been identified so far.
