COSMIC MESSAGE
The Virgo Cluster is the closest large cluster of galaxies to our Milky Way. It spans more than five degrees on the sky, containing over 100 galaxies of various types. The cluster is so massive it is gravitationally pulling our own galaxy towards it. It contains hot gas that glows in X-rays, in addition to its many galaxies.
