The Crab Pulsar, a rapidly spinning neutron star, powers the inner region of the Crab Nebula. This composite image combines optical data from Hubble (red) and X-ray images from Chandra (blue). The pulsar, spinning 30 times a second, accelerates charged particles. This creates the eerie glow seen in both optical and X-ray wavelengths.
