COSMIC MESSAGE

A rare hybrid solar eclipse, where the Moon's shadow briefly appears as either annular or total. The path of this eclipse, only 30 kilometers wide, mostly crossed the Pacific Ocean. Observers at the beginning and end of the path saw an annular eclipse, with the Moon surrounded by a ring of sunlight.
