COSMIC MESSAGE
The Crescent Nebula, NGC 6888, is a cosmic bubble about 25 light-years in diameter. It was blown by winds from its central, bright, massive star. This image from the Isaac Newton Telescope combines color with narrow-band data, isolating light from hydrogen and oxygen atoms. The oxygen atoms create the blue-green hue.
