The Shark Nebula

The Shark Nebula is a large formation of interstellar gas and dust, posing no danger to us. Dark dust, similar to cigarette smoke, forms in the cool atmospheres of giant stars and is then expelled. This dust, along with gas, recondenses gravitationally. Massive stars can then sculpt intricate structures into these birth clouds using their high-energy light and fast stellar winds.
