COSMIC MESSAGE
This telescopic mosaic spans over 10 degrees in Earth's skies, from Cassiopeia to Andromeda. It is constructed from panels that are part of a high-resolution astronomical survey of the Milky Way in hydrogen-alpha light. Processing the data brought out faint, relatively unexplored filaments of hydrogen gas. These large, faint structures are near the plane of our Milky Way Galaxy.
