COSMIC MESSAGE
The Sun's corona, usually hidden by the bright solar disk, becomes visible during a total solar eclipse. The human eye can adapt to see faint features and the full extent of the corona better than most cameras. This image combines multiple exposures to highlight both bright and faint features of the 2017 eclipse corona.
