Barred spiral galaxy NGC 1365 is about 200,000 light-years across. Located 60 million light-years away in the constellation Fornax, it is a dominant member of the Fornax Cluster. This image shows reddish star-forming regions near the ends of the galaxy's central bar and along its spiral arms.
