COSMIC MESSAGE
Comet C/2022 E3 (ZTF) has a distinctive shape, showing a common dust tail, an ion tail, and a green gas coma. It also has an antitail, which appears to lead the comet but is actually part of the fanned-out dust tail seen from a specific angle. The comet, a giant dirty snowball, has passed its closest approach to the Sun and will soon pass its closest to Earth.
