On February 22, a young Moon shared the western sky at sunset with bright planets Venus and Jupiter. This conjunction was visible around the world. From some locations, Jupiter was occulted by the crescent lunar disk. This image from Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, shows Jupiter just before it disappeared behind the Moon's dark edge.
