3 ATs

These three enclosures house 1.8-meter Auxiliary Telescopes at the Paranal Observatory in Chile's Atacama Desert. They are designed for interferometry, a technique that combines light from multiple telescopes to achieve extremely high resolution. These ATs work in concert with the observatory's 8-meter Very Large Telescope units, enhancing our ability to observe distant cosmic phenomena. Each AT has a transporter, allowing it to move across the observatory grounds.
