Comet Pons-Brooks, a Halley-type comet, was seen over June Lake in the northern hemisphere. Its ion tail and greenish coma are visible in this telescopic view, near the star Hamal in Aries. The comet is moving towards perihelion on April 21, and might be visible during the day on April 8.
