Blue Arcs Toward Andromeda

COSMIC MESSAGE
These enormous blue arcs, called SDSO 1, were found near the Andromeda Galaxy. They span almost the same angular size as Andromeda itself. After 550 hours of observation, astronomers confirmed that SDSO 1 is not intergalactic, but is instead part of our own Milky Way.
