COSMIC MESSAGE
HD 61005 is a young star, only about 100 million years old, located 120 light-years away. Similar to our Sun, it produces a fast and dense stellar wind. This wind pushes out surrounding dust and gas, forming a bubble called an astrosphere. The Chandra X-ray Observatory detected this star-blown bubble.
