A different plate, from the same week

The photograph for 7 MAY 2002 is not one we can put on paper at poster size. This one comes from the public archives instead: A 'wallpaper' of distant galaxies is a stunning backdrop for a runaway galaxy, published 30 APR 2002. It is the nearest plate to your date that we are free to print.
