Repairing Hubble

NASA APOD
MENSAJE CÓSMICO

The first Hubble Space Telescope servicing mission, STS-61, was one of the most complex shuttle missions ever planned. Launched in December 1993 aboard the Space Shuttle Endeavour, astronauts performed five spacewalks to repair the observatory. These repairs were crucial for Hubble to deliver the groundbreaking images it has since provided.
