Edwin Hubble Discovers the Universe

NASA APOD
MENSAJE CÓSMICO

Edwin Hubble, seen here with the Palomar Mountain 48-inch telescope, profoundly changed our understanding of the universe. He proved the existence of other galaxies and that they are moving away from one another. His work defined our place in the cosmos, and the orbiting space telescope bears his name.
