MENSAJE CÓSMICO
This is NGC 891, a spiral galaxy seen edge-on, much like we believe our own Milky Way appears. Its thin disk of stars, gas, and dust is clearly visible, with a prominent dark lane of dust obscuring its central plane. Billions of stars orbit its core, many moving at speeds that hint at unseen dark matter.
