MENSAJE CÓSMICO
Dust along the plane of the Milky Way is not uniformly distributed, but arranged like a foam with bubbles and voids. This infrared image, based on data from NASA's IRAS satellite, maps the radiation from the edges of these galactic dust clouds. The frothy structure is churned by shocks and winds generated as stars cycle through their lives.
