Happy Birthday Jules Verne

Sunday marks the 170th anniversary of Jules Verne's birth. Born in Nantes, France, on February 8, 1828, Verne was fascinated by machines. He wrote visionary works about 'Extraordinary Voyages,' including "Around the World in 80 Days" and "Journey to the Centre of the Earth." In 1865, he published "From the Earth to the Moon," where characters traveled in a projectile.
