NASA APOD
MENSAJE CÓSMICO

NGC 6369, a planetary nebula in Ophiuchus, appears donut-shaped. The gas expelled by the central star is bunched in a donut or cylinder. During this phase, the central star sheds its outer atmosphere as it evolves into a white dwarf. This image, taken with the Hubble Space Telescope, shows details of the nebula.
