Giant Cluster Bends, Breaks Images

This image shows a giant cluster of galaxies acting as a gravitational lens. The yellow objects are cluster galaxies, and their combined gravity, along with dark matter, bends light. This lensing effect creates multiple images of background galaxies, including a distinctive beaded, blue, ring-like galaxy.
