NASA APOD
MENSAJE CÓSMICO

Supernova remnant N132D, 180,000 light-years away in the Large Magellanic Cloud, shows complex structures in this sharp X-ray image. This cosmic debris from a massive star's death has a striking horseshoe shape, about 80 light-years across. The light from its explosion would have reached Earth about 3,000 years ago. The orbiting Chandra Observatory captured this image.
