The center of our Milky Way Galaxy is a place of extreme activity, hidden from visible light by vast clouds of dust and gas. Astronomers use other wavelengths to see bizarre objects there. These include bright star clusters, swirling rings of gas, and a supermassive black hole at the very heart.
