What the Hubble Saw
This quilt by Judy Ross interprets some of the Hubble Space Telescope's views of galaxies and nebulae. Featured clockwise from the lower right are the Red Rectangle Nebula, NGC 2392, the Sleeping Beauty Galaxy, V838 Monocerotis, and the supernova remnant N49. Quilts have historically been used to represent astronomical concepts.
