Warped Sky: Star Trails Panorama
This image is a four-hour exposure of the night sky, creating long, prominent star trails. The Earth's rotation causes the stars to appear to circle the celestial poles. This particular photo is a 360-degree panorama, horizontally compressed, showing both the South Celestial Pole on the left and the North Celestial Pole on the right. It captures the vast sweep of the sky over an extended period.
