Prometheus Creating Saturn Ring Streamers

Prometheus, one of Saturn's moons, creates strange light and dark streamers in the planet's F-Ring. Prometheus orbits just inside the thin F-ring, venturing into its inner edge approximately every 15 hours. Its gravity pulls nearby ring particles, creating a stream of bright particles and a corresponding dark ribbon where particles have been cleared. This interaction sculpts the ring's intricate structure.
