MENSAJE CÓSMICO
Meteors are dust, tiny bits of asteroids or comets, burning up as they hit Earth's atmosphere. Here, the annual Geminid meteor shower streaks over the snow-capped Teide volcano in the Canary Islands. The constellation Orion is visible in the background. This image captures about two hours of shooting stars.
