Pulsating Aurora over Iceland
This video captures pulsating auroras over the Svinafellsjokull Glacier in Iceland. The cause of these pulsations is not yet fully understood, and it remains an active area of research. This real-time footage shows the dramatic, rhythmic changes in the aurora's brightness. The astrophotographer moving in the foreground helps to show that the pulsations are not an artifact of time-lapse photography.
