Fly Over Dwarf Planet Ceres

This video simulates a flight over the dwarf planet Ceres using actual images and height data from NASA's Dawn mission. The Dawn spacecraft is currently visiting Ceres. The animation begins with an orbit around the 950-km wide space rock, bringing into view the crater with its enigmatic white spots. Subsequent sequences show virtual flights around Ceres' north and south poles.
