A Year of Full Moons
This grid of twelve full moons, imaged from Pakistan, shows the slight differences in appearance over a year. Each full moon, from November 2016 through October 2017, is shown at the same scale. The change in apparent size is real, caused by the Moon's varying distance due to its non-circular orbit.
