A Wintry Shower
NASA APOD · Jack Fusco
MENSAJE CÓSMICO
This single 10-second exposure captures four Geminid meteors, including a bright fireball, streaking through northern skies. The fireball's greenish light reflects off a partially frozen Lake Edith in Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada. The Canadian Rocky Mountains frame the northern horizon, completing the wintry scene.
