Night Sky Highlights: March to May

What might you see in the night sky over the next few months? This graphic highlights some events from March to May. Events in March fan out toward the left, April toward the top, and May toward the right. Objects relatively close to Earth are illustrated nearer to the cartoon figure with the telescope, though almost everything pictured can be seen without one. Sky highlights this season include a bright comet and several meteor showers.
