Flyover of Jupiter's North Pole in Infrared

This animation, made from infrared data from NASA's Juno spacecraft, shows a flyover of Jupiter's North Pole. Since the pole is in shadow, the video uses infrared light, where the hottest features glow brightest. Juno zooms in to reveal eight cyclones orbiting the pole. Each cyclone is highlighted, showing the dynamic weather patterns of Jupiter.
