Coronal Rain on the Sun
NASA APOD
MENSAJE CÓSMICO
Yes, it rains on the Sun. This plasma rain, made of superheated gas, falls along magnetic field lines after a solar eruption. This image from 2012 shows material cooling and condensing, then falling back to the Sun's surface. The electrically charged particles follow the Sun's magnetic field, creating these graceful arcs.
