Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh
Vincent van Gogh's "Starry Night" is one of the most famous depictions of the night sky in art. Painted in 1889 in southern France, its swirling style makes the night sky come alive. While van Gogh often painted real settings, art historians still debate which specific stars and planets are shown. It is a key work of post-impressionism.
