Analemma over Taipei

The Sun does not return to the same spot in the sky every day. This image, an analemma, shows the Sun's varying position over a year. It was created by combining photos taken at 4:30 PM each day in Taipei, Taiwan, during 2021. The city skyline, including Taipei 101, is in the foreground. The Sun's location at the December solstice is on the far left, while its June solstice position is at the top.
