A Gravity Map of Earth

Gravity is not uniform across Earth's surface. This map shows where the gravitational field is stronger or weaker. You would feel slightly lighter in some areas, like off the coast of India, and heavier in others, such as the mountains of Chile. These variations are due to differences in the planet's mass distribution.
