NGC1850: Star Cluster in the LMC

NGC 1850 is a star cluster within the Large Magellanic Cloud, our neighboring galaxy 166,000 light-years away. This Hubble Space Telescope image shows yellowish stars, about 50 million years old, and younger, hotter white stars, only 4 million years old. These stellar populations reveal different stages of star formation within the cluster.
