COSMIC MESSAGE
M3 is a globular cluster, an ancient ball of half a million stars. Most of its stars are old and red, but it also contains some younger blue stars. This cluster is one of about 250 that orbit our Milky Way galaxy, and it is easily visible in the Northern Hemisphere.
