NGC 205 is a dwarf elliptical galaxy, part of our Local Group of galaxies. This image shows it in the lower left. The Local Group includes about 25 galaxies, such as the Milky Way, the Andromeda Galaxy, and the Magellanic Clouds. NGC 205 is a companion to the large Andromeda Galaxy, and sometimes you can spot it south of Andromeda.
