COSMIC MESSAGE

M2 is a globular cluster, a ball of over 100,000 stars, orbiting the center of our Milky Way Galaxy. This cluster spans over 150 light-years and is about 50,000 light-years away in the constellation Aquarius. It is one of nearly 200 such clusters left over from the early universe.
