NASA's Crawler-Transporters are the largest tracked vehicles in existence. They are designed to move space shuttles and their launch platforms from the Assembly Building to the Launch Pad at Kennedy Space Center. These crawlers have over 5,000 horsepower, but their top speed is less than two kilometers per hour when loaded. It takes eleven people to drive a single crawler, and they use about 350 liters of diesel fuel per kilometer.
