COSMIC MESSAGE
N63A is a supernova remnant, the debris of a massive stellar explosion, shown here in a false-color, multiwavelength view. X-ray emission in blue comes from gas heated to 10 million degrees Celsius, where fast-moving material from the blast sweeps up interstellar matter. Radio and optical emissions are brighter near the center, where x-rays are absorbed by denser, cooler material.
