COSMIC MESSAGE
SuitSat-1, an unneeded Russian Orlan spacesuit filled with old clothes and a radio transmitter, was released from the International Space Station. It orbited Earth every 90 minutes for a few weeks before burning up in the atmosphere. This experiment allowed engineers to track its orbital decay and test radio communications.
