COSMIC MESSAGE

The Leo Triplet is a group of three spiral galaxies: NGC 3628, M66, and M65, all in the same field of view. They appear different because their galactic disks are tilted at various angles to our line of sight. NGC 3628, for example, is seen edge-on, with dust lanes cutting across it.
